North Korean diplomat: Nuclear war could begin at any time

Zampolpreda of the DPRK to the United Nations said on reaching a critical point in the Korean crisis. Caused by the US, a nuclear war could begin at any moment, said the North Korean diplomat. He also noted that the DPRK is under “extreme” nuclear threat from the United States, and no country in the world has never been under such pressure.

At the meeting of the First Committee of the General Assembly of the United Nations on Monday, the Deputy permanent representative of the DPRK at the organization said on the red line, which approached the United States in relations with North Korea. According to the diplomat, in the Korean crisis reached a critical level, and, for this reason, any moment the world might shudder from the sudden outbreak of nuclear war.

“The situation in the region where is concentrated the world’s attention, has reached a critical point, and a nuclear war may break out any moment,” said zampolpreda of the DPRK to the UN Kim Ying Ren.

The diplomat says that North Korea is under unprecedented pressure from the United States. From Washington come the “extreme” nuclear threat, unprecedented to this day no one world power. In such circumstances, Pyongyang has no choice as to defend. And North Korean military capabilities will allow them to rebuff the United States, said the diplomat. In case of an attack on the “sacred territory” of North Korea, America will be severely punished.

“All the continental States is within reach of our firepower if the US dares at least an inch to invade our sacred territory, they will not escape severe punishment in any part of the world”, – quotes the words of the North Korean Ambassador to the Agency TASS.
