A published account of the “acoustic attack” on the U.S. diplomats in Cuba

The Associated Press published on its website a short audio in which the entry of so-called acoustic attack being experienced by US diplomats in Cuba and in which some of them were identified minor injuries of the brain and Central nervous system.

Presents sound can be compared to a high-pitched squeak of a thousand crickets, which are woven in different tones and some kind of mechanical buzzer.

The recording, released Thursday by the AP, is the first publicly widespread fragment of one of the many taken in Cuba of the sounds that originally led investigators to the version of the sonic weapon.

Records from Havana had been sent on an analysis of the U.S. Navy, which have advanced capabilities for the analysis of acoustic signals, as well as in special services. However, while experts are unable to determine exactly what led to the injury. But the United States has accused Cuba of failing to protect American diplomats on their land.

Cuba denies involvement in or knowledge about attacks.

Whether there is a direct relationship between sound and physical damage suffered by the victims is unclear. In the US, said that overall attacks have caused auditory, cognitive, visual problems, sleep disturbances etc.

Experts have counted about 20 or more different frequencies in the presented sound.
