The world’s first case of Internet war exists around the referendum on independence of Catalonia. So says WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. In his opinion, is “the largest in the West, the conflict between the people and the state” since the fall of the Berlin wall.
“The first Internet war in the world began in Catalonia. The people and government use the Internet to organize on Sunday a referendum on independence, and the Spanish intelligence services attack, freezing and telecommunications, occupying the building when carrying out the censorship of hundreds of sites, protocols, etc.,” wrote Assange on Twitter.
