The private screening of the film Director Alexey Uchitel was held on September 28 in Moscow cinema of Gum. Stanislav Govorukhin immediately afterwards told reporters that if even to gather one million signatures for a ban of “Matilda”, it will be less than one percent of the population of Russia. “Well, that is 100 thousand signatures in a country where there are 146 million people,” said the filmmaker, who acclaimed picture like.

These words and criticized Poklonskaya. “Despite the statements of the Chairman of the culture Committee after the “required” viewing of the movie “Matilda” more members of this Committee that 100 thousand citizens of Russia is not the number of people that will listen, I will say that it’s not true”, — wrote the MP in Facebook (spelling and punctuation preserved).

Poklonski stressed that “people doing things right” and hear them too in the state Duma. The MP said that representatives of all Duma factions have agreed to re-send the request to the Prosecutor General with a request to ban a picture of a Teacher who “incite hatred on religious grounds and defile the Orthodox shrines and religious feelings of the people.”

Recall that in July Poklonskaya sent to the interior Ministry, the Prosecutor General and the Ministry of culture of Russia of 100 thousand cases insulted “Matilda” citizens. The film deals with the fate of the ballerina Matilda Kschessinska, and fell in love with future Emperor Nicholas II.
