The intention to build a fence on the border with Ukraine, reported in the border Department of the FSB of Russia in Republic of Crimea, reports TASS.

According to the information on the website of public procurement, the contractor of the contract will have to build a fence in Krasnoperekopskiy area height of 2.4 meters and a length of 49.5 km. The upper part of the boom will be equipped with barbed wire and steel canopies.

The construction of the facility will cost the Federal budget of 212 million rubles. Work must be completed before the end of the year.

The barrier is due to the fact that recent reports of border Department of the FSB increasingly are examples of attempts of illegal border crossing, bypassing the official checkpoints “Dzhankoy”, “Armenian” and “Perekop”.

According to the FSB, it is most often detain criminals seeking to escape to a neighboring country from punishment. Also “transparent” border attracts a sabotage group, said “the Russian newspaper”.

Russians in social networks remember the failed Ukrainian project “the Wall” on the border with Russia, the author of which was Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The commentators are a joke please do not bring the ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine to work on a new project.

Only for God’s sake do not connect to this work of Arseniy Yatsenyuk
