500 Chinese tourists have broken the migratory legislation of the Russian Federation because of “VIM-Avia”

Executive Director of the Association “World without borders” Svetlana Pyatikhatki reported that due to issues with the departure of the aircraft of the airline “Vimavia” were unable to fly home from Domodedovo 13 tour groups from China. 9 more Chinese groups are stuck at the airport “Pulkovo” in St.-Petersburg.

If problem is not solved until October 3, problems with the check-out occur about 2.3 thousand of tourists from China, located in Russia.

“The impossibility of departure of visa-free groups raises a number of problems associated with accommodation of tourists in hotels, as well as in the area of visa and migration laws. Group visa involves strict terms of entry and exit, and the failure to date of departure entails the violation of migration rules,” she explained.

She added that hotels do not have the right to settle such tourists, but if you break the law, you will be forced to pay a fine of 400 thousand rubles for each tourist, which expired visa.

She expressed hope that the resolution of this issue during the joint operation of the Federal tourism Agency, Federal air transport Agency and Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
