Schultz admitted defeat before Merkel


The leader of the Social democratic party of Germany Martin Schulz admitted defeat in the elections to the Bundestag.

“Today is a hard and bitter day for German social democracy, Mr Schulz said. – We have not achieved our goals.”

According to preliminary data, in the Parliament are six parties. First place (34%) of the CDU/CSU in glee with Chancellor Angela Merkel. The SPD received a 21%, 13% – from the far-right partyAlternative for Germany”. Also in Parliament are the Free democratic party – 10,5%, “Green” – 9,5%, “Left” – 9%.
