Venezuela called Canada imposed sanctions violate international law

Violation of international law considered in Venezuela, Canada imposed sanctions against senior officials, including President Nicolas Maduro. This was stated by the foreign Ministry of Venezuela.

“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela categorically rejects the decision of the government of Canada to impose illegal sanctions against senior Venezuelan officials, which is a violation of the purposes and principles enshrined in the UN Charter, the Charter of the Organization of American States, international law and the norms that should govern the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries”, – said the Agency.

Earlier it was reported that four dozen Venezuelan officials of the top echelon got to the sanctions list Canada. Restrictions were imposed, including in respect of President Nicolas Maduro. Their assets frozen, and the citizens of Canada are not allowed to have with them business.
