Reuters wrote on Friday that the us government has obtained the data allegedly supporting the Russian involvement in hacking attacks on 21 staff. During last year’s election of the President of the United States the attack was subjected to an electronic system of voter registration.
The Agency cites a source in the Ministry of homeland security and the administrator of the Electoral Commission of the state of Wisconsin Michael Haas. The representative of the Commission stated that cyberpsace was hired “by the Russian government.” However, he argues that its goal of hackers is not reached. To crack the electronic voter registration system failed in all other States affected by the attacks.
“Hackers were scanning the Internet-connected and electoral infrastructure of the state, trying, probably to find specific vulnerability, including to obtain access to the registration databases of voters, but all their attempts failed,” – said the Agency interlocutor.
