Poroshenko took Russia’s agreement on the deployment of UN peacekeepers in the Donbass

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the introduction of peacekeepers of the United Nations in a zone of armed conflict in the Donbass without the consent of the Russian side is not possible, reports Fox Business.

“We need this consent of the five permanent members of the UN security Council, including Russia”, — said the Ukrainian leader.

The Ukrainian head of state reminded that Russia in 1994 signed the Budapest Memorandum, “when Ukraine abandoned the third largest nuclear Arsenal — us guaranteed our sovereignty and territorial integrity”.

In addition, the head of the Square, stressed that UN peacekeepers should be established not only in all “occupied” territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, but also on the border of Ukraine with Russia.
