Lavrov and UN Secretary General discussed Ukraine, Syria and North Korea

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov held talks with Secretary-General of the United Nations, antónio Gutteres and discussed with him the reform of the UN and the resolution of the armed conflict in the Syrian Arab Republic and the situation around nuclear and missile programs of the Democratic people’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

The head of the Russian diplomacy and the UN chief exchanged views on the issue of UN reform, international issues, including Syria, the situation in the middle East and around the DPRK, said the press-service of the international organization.

Also Lavrov and Gutteres discussed security in Europe, including in relation to Ukraine.
