Journalist Simon was given a suspended sentence for supporting the blockade of the Crimea

Railway district court of Simferopol sentenced the Crimean journalist Nicholas Simon to 2.5 years probation for within article approval to a blockade of the Peninsula from Ukraine. The journalist was convicted on charges of incitement to violate the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation (part 2 of article 280.1 of the criminal code).
