Gatilov: to fear the collapse of Syria due to the introduction of zones of de-escalation is not worth it

Deputy foreign Minister of Russia Gennady Gatilov, speaking at the Ministerial meeting of the UN General Assembly on Syria, reassured against the creation of zones of de-escalation in the Syrian Arab Republic, stating that they will not contribute to the dismemberment of the country.

“Zones of de-escalation in Syria is a temporary measure. They created six months with possibility of extension… should Not create the impression that it is a preparation to the subsequent dismemberment of Syria or its partition into zones of influence”, – said the diplomat.
