In the framework of the anti-war rally Yabloko conducted in the cities of Russia the collection of signatures for the withdrawal of Russian troops from the zone of the clashes in Syria, and also against any military campaigns of the Russian Federation. The money saved it proposes to invest in the development and improvement of the country. For example, in a war with Syria already has been spent over 190 billion rubles. Meanwhile, according to Yavlinsky, deteriorating medical services, and classroom learning for 40 people. “All spent on killing in a foreign civil war,” he said.

In parallel with the collection of signatures Yabloko conducted a public opinion poll. According to the results, against the war in Syria and the participation of Russia is 49% of the population. However, the number of respondents who formed such a percentage is not specified.
The second theme of the conference is the fourth presidential campaign Yavlinsky. In order to become a candidate, he must once again gather over 100 thousand signatures. The upcoming elections Yavlinsky called “specific”, but other ways to change the situation in the country he sees. Power methods of power transition will only make this worse: “We are dealing with a system in which cultural brand — the Kalashnikov assault rifle, what else is there to add”. The politician is sure that the signatures he collected “Only officially, we have one million voters and in reality — much more.” Another thing, he said that in the current system virtually no independent finances, independent judiciary and free media.
Yavlinsky also stated about the need to abolish the municipal filter and change budget policy: the money should be distributed in the regions — increasing the responsibility of local government. Sounded on a press-conferences the question about the upcoming mayoral election. Because “Apple” is still not revealed the intrigue, whom it will nominate for the post of the capital mayor: opposition leader and former MP from the socialist-revolutionaries Dmitry Gudkov or proven over the years its head of the Moscow branch Sergey Mitrokhin. But nothing new to learn failed. Candidacy, according to Yavlinsky, will be determined on the debate, in which the judges will participate not only Apple, but also journalists and representatives of the expert community.
