Sands: the naming of Russia “an aggressor” does not leave Ukraine maneuver for the peacekeepers

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov on Thursday, 21 September, said that the government of Ukraine in its definition of Russia as “aggressor country” went too far, because these provocative actions of the Ukrainian leadership are contrary to reality, but the compromises in such formulations should have the line of reasonableness and affordability. According to him, such a position of official Kiev does not leave room for compromise about the peacekeeping contingent of the United Nations in the area of armed conflict in the Donbass.

“If you position on the fact that, say, Russia is the aggressor, of course, room for maneuver (entry of UN peacekeepers) are unlikely to remain. Because this position totally contradicts the real situation”, — said the speaker of the Kremlin.

The press Secretary of the Russian head of state also noted that the question about the possibility of sending UN peacekeepers to Donbas diplomats are engaged and referred further questions about the resolution for peacekeepers in Ukraine, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia.
