The report said that the lawsuit was filed in the Tribunal, formed under the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague.

The Complainants were six companies included in “Naftogaz”: “Chernomorneftegaz”, “Ukrtransgaz”, “of likvo”, “Ukrgasdobycha”, “Ukrtransnafta” and “Gas of Ukraine”.

The statement noted that organizations need to reimburse losses that were caused by “illegal seizure of Russian assets of the group in the Crimea”.

Previously it was reported that “Naftogaz” also intends to lay claim to “Gazprom”. The company plans to increase the size of the claim in the Stockholm arbitration court five billion dollars, thus bringing the total requirements to more than 18 billion.

According to some, thus Kiev wants to recoup losses after the failure of the Russian gas transportation through the territory of Ukraine.
