The President of the United States Donald trump began his first speech to the United Nations as head of the American state with the mention of one of the skyscrapers, belonging to him, reports The Hill.
After the acceptance speech in a ceremony, the U.S. leader went on to discuss the potential that he saw in the construction site across the street. The residential skyscraper, Trump World Tower is located on United Nations Plaza in new York.
“I do see a lot of potential right across the street, to be honest, and the reason why this project was so successful, I can only see that there is the UN,” said trump.
Trump also thanked US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley for her opening speech and for the role that she played in as the U.S. envoy to international organizations.
