Peskov denied Russia’s refusal to assist the Donbass

The Russian authorities do not refuse from provision of humanitarian aid to the Donbas, on the morning of Friday, September 14, media reported. This was stated press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

“Speech that Russia has refused humanitarian aid to residents of Donbas, can not go, speech is not and will not go” – quoted Peskov RIA Novosti.

Press Secretary of the head of state added that for humanitarian reasons, Russia should take care of the residents of Donbass, as these people “was rejected in the civil war from his own country.”

This Peskov declined to disclose the amount of financing of the Donbass, referring to the fact that he had no such figures.

Previously RBC reported that the Russian government instructed the Ministry of Finance to refuse humanitarian support “individual territories”, by which I mean Donetsk and Lugansk people’s Republic.
