Speaking about relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, she in an interview with American newspaper USA Today stated that it did not doubt that the Russian leader wanted her defeat at the polls.
“Putin began a “personal vendetta” against me after the inclusion in NATO of Eastern European countries in those days, when my husband was President of the United States… But I had no idea that Putin has the guts to take the big sneaky attack against American democracy, right under our noses,” said in particular Clinton.
