In the Federation Council said the permanent representative of Ukraine to the insults of Russian diplomats

The representative of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Sergei Tsekov Sunday, September 10, reacted to the statement by the permanent representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko, allowed himself unflattering remarks against Russian diplomats, saying that Vassily Nebenzia expresses less overt anger and aggression than the late Vitaly Churkin.

“Yelchenko is no different from all other politicians in Ukraine, who for many years show absolutely aggressive policy towards Russia”, – said the Senator of the upper house of the Russian Parliament.

According to Tsekov, overt statements Yelchenko directed against Russian diplomats, is completely inappropriate and do not correspond to political realities.

“Especially about Churkin. Vitaly Churkin during all his years at the UN did everything to Ukraine and Russia have been friendly countries,” – said Tsekov.

According to him, independent authorities fiercely resist the establishment of any contact between Russia and Ukraine, and for the last four years constantly put a spoke in the wheels of diplomatic relations between the two countries, demonstrating a clear reluctance to work and engage with Russia.
