Sands saw a figurative sense in the proposal of a duel between Putin and the President of Mongolia

The proposal of the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to hold a demonstration at the tournament on judo with participation of presidents of Russia and Mongolia, Vladimir Putin and Khaltmagiin of Battulga should not be taken literally, said the press-Secretary of Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.

Given the friendly nature of the meeting, “the proposal was intended to demonstrate exactly this positive dynamics in the relations of Russia with Mongolia and Russia with Japan”, said Peskov.

The speaker of the Kremlin considers the proposal of Abe fulfilled figuratively, which is “yet to understand”.

Note that the Abe on a possible exhibition tournament has assumed the role of spectator, so as not to get injured.
