Sechin spoke about how the speaker personally announced to him the amount of the bribe


The head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin has declared that passing on charges of bribery, former Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev personally announced to him the size of a “reward”.

“Being in the position of Minister, the speaker demanded illegal remuneration, he determined his size, he came for him, he took his hands, loaded the car and he went” – Sechin told reporters on Wednesday.

The CEO also added that in accordance with the Criminal code of the Russian Federation described the actions of the speaker are interpreted unambiguously as a crime.

Recently the media reported that investigators have audio and video conversation of the speaker and Sechin. The investigating authorities, recall, believe that the former Minister tried to extort two million dollars for “good” on the privatization of the company “Bashneft”.

We also learned that during the arrest the speaker talked about what’s in the bag that contained the money stated that there is wine.

We will remind, the former Minister was arrested on 15 November last year, shortly after this, he was sent under house arrest. On 16 August the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow has begun consideration of his case on the merits.
