Putin refused to consider North Korea a nuclear power

Russian President Vladimir Putin during talks with South Korean counterpart mun Jae-Another said that the Kremlin does not recognize the nuclear status of North Korea.

“Confirmed Mr moon Jae-Inu our fundamental position that we do not recognize the nuclear status of North Korea”, – said the Russian President.

The head of state added that the missile program of Pyongyang in violation of resolution of the UN security Council, reports RT.

Meanwhile, Putin stressed that the problems on the Korean Peninsula cannot be solved by strengthening sanctions against Pyongyang. He also urged not to succumb to emotions and “to drive the DPRK into a corner”.

Recall that Putin is now in Vladivostok, where these days takes place the third East economic forum.
