Mexico disappointed by the cancellation of the US program protecting illegal immigrants from deportation


The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Mexico has expressed regret at the decision of the President of the United States Donald trump to cancel the program protection from deportation to illegal immigrants who entered the U.S. as a minor (DACA).

“The Mexican government regrets the closure of DACA and expresses its deep concern at the uncertainty which now will be faced by thousands of young people born in Mexico… Migration policy is an internal matter of the United States, but we cannot ignore the fact that from the abolition of this program will hurt thousands of our compatriots. We are planning a diplomatic way to achieve early resolution of legal uncertainty… in addition the foreign Ministry is ready to provide full consular and legal assistance fall under the DACA program… Mexico with open arms to take the young dreamers who are ready to come back into the country”, – reported in the Mexican foreign Ministry.
