Putin and XI Jinping visited the exhibition and exchanged gifts

Arrived in China at the BRICS summit Russian President Vladimir Putin and leader XI Jinping visited an exhibition of Chinese crafts and cultural heritage, the press service of the Kremlin.

The head of state exchanged gifts. XI Jinping gave his Russian counterpart a Desk handcrafted with wishes of prosperity, decorated with Chinese calligraphy, as well as Russia sculpture Chinese warrior in traditional costume. Putin gave the Chinese leader the furnishings – table lamps of jade and amber with a picture of a sailboat.

After viewing the exhibition, where politicians got acquainted with the exhibits from different provinces of China, Putin and XI Jinping continued their talks in a working lunch format.
