Pushkov: no reparations from Russia, Poland did not receive

The head of Committee of the Federation Council of Russia on information policy Alexei Pushkov on Saturday, September 2, responded to the demands of the deputies of the ruling party of Poland “law and justice” regarding the fact that Russia is supposed to pay the Polish state war reparations in the amount of 30 million rubles in gold by the Riga Treaty of 1921 for the damage caused to Warsaw by the Soviet failure to comply with this agreement.

According to Pushkov, any rights to reparations from Russia, Poland does not exist, consequently, she does not get, should not even count.

“Reparations from Russia, Poland did not receive. Any rights to reparations from her. She should not even start this losing party,” wrote a Russian Senator in his microblog on Twitter, while accusing Polish parliamentarians in the “lack of realism”.
