Peskov: Putin for the second year in a row, will not attend the UN General Assembly

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov Saturday, September 2, said the head of state Vladimir Putin for the second year in a row is not going to go to the General Assembly of the United Nations in new York, which opens on September 12.

“No. The participation of the President of Russia is not planned”, — said the speaker of the Kremlin.

The Russian delegation to the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly will be headed by the foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov.
