The head of the Crimea: the Border areas have become a hotbed of extremism and terrorism


“A hotbed of extremism and terrorism” called the head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov nearby Ukrainian territory. The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov expressed his opinion about the situation around the Republic. According to him, the border areas of Kherson region of Ukraine has become a “hotbed of extremism and terrorism”.

This statement Aksenov made after a joint meeting of antiterrorist commissions of the Krasnodar territory and the Republic of Crimea.

Sergey Aksenov pointed to the concentration on the border with the region of militants of the banned in Russia organization “Right sector” and “so-called Crimean Tatar battalion”. This was the head of the Republic wrote in a Facebook-hosted publication.

“The border areas of Kherson region today has become a hotbed of extremism and terrorism”, – concluded Sergey Aksenov, noting that in General, the authorities control the situation in the region, the situation there is stable.

Concerns Aksenov also causes massive immigration of the population from the conflict zone in Eastern Ukraine in the Crimea.
