The crisis over Ukraine stopping us-Russian relations. This statement was made by the special representative of the state Department in Ukraine Kurt Volker. He also noted the deteriorating situation in the Donbass, which, according to Volcker, would soon lead to economic and diplomatic isolation of Moscow. American politician is sure that Russia will not satisfy this development.
In the near future Russia will be isolated because of the situation in the East of Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by the special representative of the American foreign Ministry on Ukraine Kurt Volker. Diplomatic and economic isolation, according to Volcker, has threatened Moscow of trying to freeze the conflict in the Donbass. In this high-ranking employee of the state Department believed that such a scenario does not suit Russia.
“Russia wants to freeze the conflict in the Donbas and is paying the price of sanctions. Any diplomatic, economic relations can be terminated with Moscow. It’s not something like Russia”, — quotes the words of Volker Financial Times.
At the same time, the special envoy of the state Department is confident that the Ukrainian crisis is detrimental to bilateral U.S.-Russian relations. Walker noted the importance of these relationships, but pointed to the inability to cultivate them as long as not resolved the crisis.
He also added that the issue of supply of lethal weapons to Kiev were carefully negotiated by the United States, but at present a final decision on this issue.

“If Ukraine joined the countries that have renounced nuclear weapons, this would not be a good solution. I don’t think nuclear weapons would be something positive for Ukraine. I would not like to see Ukraine again revived the process,” said Walker in an interview to Ukrainian TV channel.
