Russian Deputy foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told the Ambassador on provocative initiatives of the Moldovan side on the consideration at the UN General Assembly the question of the withdrawal of foreign forces from the country.

The Ambassador of Moldova in Russia Andrey Negutsa was summoned to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The reason for the call diplomat on Smolensk square was the initiative of the Moldovan side to introduce in the agenda of the 72nd session of the General Assembly of the United Nations an item on the “complete withdrawal of foreign military forces from the territory of Moldova.” This is stated in the message of the foreign Ministry.
Deputy head of the Russian foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov in the meeting with Andrei, Negusu pointed to the provocative plan of Chisinau. Ryabkov said that such actions are contrary to the reality of the presence of the limited Russian military contingent in Transnistria. The Russian foreign Ministry believe that the initiative belongs to the enemies of positive change “in Russian-Moldovan relations”.
