Dodon: government of Moldova has amended the Declaration on the peacekeepers for the UN

The Moldovan government has already recognized the error on the peacekeeping mission in the Dniester, agreeing that the peacekeeping operation in the region to not touch it. This was stated by the President of Moldova Igor Dodon. According to him, the corresponding Declaration is already adjusted.

The representative of Moldova to the UN had previously submitted to the Secretariat of the organization of the letter, which notes the desire to raise the issue of withdrawal of foreign troops at the session of the UN General Assembly.

Dodon believes that this “another anti-Russian demarche” will remain at the level of declarations. He also hopes that the government will not lead to destabilization in Transdniestria and to the harsh measures of Russia against the Moldovans.
