President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, speaking at the parade in honor of independence Day, said that the country is ready to put up 130 thousand reservists in case of “worsening situation” in the Donbass. We are talking about people who have actual combat experience, said the politician.

The head of state said that Ukraine is planning in the future to contain “the largest in Europe and third in the world army”, referring to Russia. According to him, the Ukrainian army is in excellent condition and ready to rebuff the “aggressor” in the case of his attempts to go on the offensive, reports UNIAN.
“But nevertheless we proceed from the priority of peaceful, diplomatic, political and legal path to return to the Donbass and Crimea”, – said Poroshenko.
However, the politician said about 130 thousands of reservists to join the army at any time. “200 thousand people have gone through six waves of mobilization. About 100 thousand now volunteers went to serve under contract. 130 thousand soldiers with combat experience enrolled in a mobilization reserve. In the case of aggravation of the situation, ready to return to duty,” – said the Ukrainian leader.
On the eve of the parade at the opening of the exhibition of arms and military equipment in Kiev, Poroshenko announced the beginning of the program of reequipment of the army. Chapter Square recalled that this year for the military in state budget provides a record 64.5 billion hryvnia ($2,53 billion), compared with 2013, the military budget has increased 10 times.
Recall that on August 20 at his page on Facebook Poroshenko posted a video with the tank T-72A, which passed modernization at the Kiev armored plant. The politician noted that during the modernization of the tank factory “as possible took into account the experience the Ukrainian military in the area ATO”.
