The head of the state Department accused Russia of supplying weapons to the Taliban

The head of the us Department of Rex Tillerson made another accusations against Russia. This time, in the opinion of the Secretary of state of the United States, Russia is guilty that supplied arms to the Taliban (the Islamist movement, banned in Russia).

Speaking to reporters at the regular briefing of the state Department, Rex Tillerson reiterated his accusations against Russia, despite the fact that earlier the Ministry of defence of the Russian Federation has denied such statement from the White house. By the way, and this time the words of the Secretary were not supported by any specific evidence.

“The Russian authorities are really engaged in the supply of weapons to the Taliban (the Islamist terrorist group banned in Russia – approx. ed.)… Such actions are a violation of international norms and standards of the security Council of the United Nations,” said Tillerson, the full text of which is published on the official website of the US State Department.
