Udaltsov named their presidential candidates: from Prilepin to Glazyev

Recently released from prison the leader of the “Left front” Sergei Udaltsov in interview to “Novaya Gazeta”, told about who could be the left alternative to the current Russian President Vladimir Putin in the upcoming March elections.

“I have to figure out some names — said Udaltsov. — Boldyrev, Rashkin, Melnikov, Shargunov, Prilepin, eyes, others. They will still be better than the old boring person”.

The politician said that the main task in March, sees the second round, and it benefited from the participation of the different candidates, even such as Zakhar Prilepin, “the instigators and the militant writers” (the latter is the wording used by the interviewer what Udaltsov has asked “not to analyze”).

At the same time the Communist party leader Gennady Zyuganov, who, presumably, can go to the presidential elections, Udaltsov said with sympathy as “a respected, intelligent, intellectually developed person” though and noticed that the “old leaders were a little tired.”

Threat to future presidential elections, policies he considered right alternative to Putin — Alexei Navalny, Mikhail Kasyanov and Vladimir Ryzhkov. According to him, these are good people, but to work on their coming to power, he is not ready.
