As stated in the air Soloviev, “a prominent British intelligence officer” told me that “their plans after the Georgian war were: to capture the Caucasus, to use the Caucasus to separate from Russia, to use radical Islam as a weapon to blast of the Caucasus and the Volga region”.
Thus Solovyov had made a reservation, the interview is debatable, is it true or not, but then told him without a doubt.
Described by TV presenter meets interview published on 12 August on the fake website, The Guardian of the text written on behalf of the former head of British intelligence MI6 John Scarlett. In the address bar of the site “i” was replaced by a similar Turkish letter without the dot.
In the “interview” on behalf of Scarlett argued, inter alia, that “the most elaborated strategic plan the US and Britain for the collapse of Russia over the past few years have failed”. This quickly exposed as a fake, however, quoted a number of Russian media: REN TV, “channel five”, “Constantinople”.
The “BBC” conducted a detailed analysis of the text of the fake material, pointing out that native English speakers could make the appropriate mistakes in his speech.
“This combination of high technological skills and linguistic incompetence is a typical symptom of the work force in the interests of the Kremlin agents, although it is unclear whether the official’s agents, like the “Troll factory”, or independent” – gave the publication a quote expert at the Atlantic Council on cybersecurity Ben Nimmo.
