Experts put Medvedev as the likely successors to Putin

The Chairman of Russian government Dmitry Medvedev and Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin became leaders of a rating of the likely successors to President Vladimir Putin. The list is prepared by Fund “the Petersburg policy”.

As writes on Monday, the newspaper “Kommersant”, the experts of Fund “the Petersburg policy” has made a rating of the likely successors to Vladimir Putin.

Analysts take into account the achievements and failures of top Russian politicians, citizens ‘ expectations from them, publicity and activity. One of the evaluation criteria is the presence of directed against the policy of the campaign in the media. Also, the compilers of the list took into account how often a politician meets with the Russian leader.

According to analysts, those who entered the first twenty of a rating, form the ruling elite for the next six years. The term “successor” is not confined only to the presidency, as formulated by the authors more widely.

First place in the ranking with a small margin went to the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev with 21 points. It is followed by Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin, which the experts gave 19 points. One point got occupying third place the head of Tula region Alexey Dyumin, worked in the presidential security service.

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov settled down on 13-m a place.

4. Sergei Shoigu (17 points);

5. Valentina Matvienko (16 points);

7. Anton Vaino (16 points);

8. Sergei Kiriyenko (16 points);

9. Vyacheslav Volodin (15 points);

10. Igor Sechin (15 points).
