Ukraine has sent Russia a note of protest over Putin’s trip to Crimea

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine handed their Russian colleagues a note of protest because of the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sevastopol.

The Ukrainian Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian leader’s visit to the Peninsula called “a gross violation of Russia’s state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine” and “cynical and defiant disregard of universally recognised norms of international law.”
