Media: retired chief strategist of the US White house


Advisor to the President of the United States Donald trump on strategic issues Stephen Bannon resigned. This was announced by the publication Politico, citing one of the senior assistants in the administration of the American leader.

The publication reminded that the part of the staff of the White house was dissatisfied with the behavior and tactics, selected’bannon.

The New York Times simultaneously reported that trump had discussed with his advisers the intent to dismiss’bannon. The newspaper’s sources say that Bannon himself has submitted a letter of resignation on 7 August, but the decision was postponed because of the events in Charlottesville.

An additional factor indicates that Bannon was the leader of the group right in the White house. A storm of criticism fell upon this political group after clashes with far-right in Charlottesville. Trump, whose phrase about the perpetrators on both sides had to give explanations, said about’bannon: “not racist”, a “friend”.
