The head of the DPRK foreign Ministry said a Japanese colleague about the intention to engage in dialogue

The foreign Minister of the DPRK ri Yong Ho during a brief conversation with the Minister of foreign Affairs of Japan, Taro Kono on the sidelines of the Association of South – East Asia in Manila on 6 August announced the intention to engage in dialogue.

According to the newspaper Yomiuri, the Ministers held a short conversation, during a dinner organized for the participants. On that occasion, the Japanese Minister conveyed to his companion the official position of the country on the issues of North Korean nuclear and missile programs. In response, the foreign Minister of the DPRK stated its intention to engage in dialogue, the newspaper claims.
