Russian military base in Tajikistan raised the alarm

In the Central military district reported raising alarm units stationed in Tajikistan, the Russian 201st military base. It is reported that in the framework of the exercise the soldiers under the cover of helicopters do marches toward the border with Afghanistan in the area of the polygon Harb Maydoni. This was announced by assistant commander of the district Colonel Yaroslav Roshchupkin.

“Units of the 201st Russian military base stationed in Tajikistan, raised the alarm kicked off as part of tactical exercises with combat shooting. The calculations and the crews began marching in the area of the polygon Harb Maydoni near the Tajik-Afghan border. They will travel up to 300 miles on mountain roads. Air cover columns provide helicopters Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters”, — stated in the message.
