The commander of the Libyan national army, Khalifa Haftar at a meeting with Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow, raised the question about the possibility of providing Russian military assistance.
“We are confident that Russia will remain a good friend and will not refuse to help,” said Marshal Haftarot after the talks.
Haftar also said that the forces of the national army of Libya has been liberated from terrorists 90% of the country. Fierce battles were fought for more than three months. Haftar complained of continued embargo on arms supplies.
