“In case you missed — here is one of the most shameful, unpatriotic and ignorant comments of our President”, – wrote McFaul in his Twitter.

Earlier, trump, commenting on the Kremlin’s demand to downsize the American Embassy in Russia to 755 people, expressed gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump said that thanks to Washington’s nice to save money on salaries of employees.

“Would save a lot of money”: the trump thanked Putin for the expulsion of American diplomats

Note that this statement of the President of the United States caused discontent among the employees of the state Department.

However, some “thank yous” Washington, apparently, is not limited. Today, the media reported that Washington is considering the option of closing one of the four Russian consulates in the United States in retaliation. Details in our material
