The President of Lithuania has accused of serving the interests of the United States


Former President of Lithuania, MEP Rolandas Paksas stated that the current head of state Dalia Grybauskaite serves the interests of the United States. This opinion was expressed in connection with the fact that his country, as he considered, other beloo glad the US decision of new sanctions.

“She slashed straight from the shoulder right after Europe has expressed its concerns in connection with U.S. actions that may have a negative effect on energy projects related to the interests of the European Union,” Paksas said on its website.

He stressed that parents do not have the right to dictate the rules of the energy policy of the European Union, and the opinion on the need for the EU to support anti-Russian sanctions, is contrary to the official position of Brussels.
