Terroristy IG stole about $830 million from banks in Iraq


The Central Bank of Iraq issued a report which says that from 2014 from various banks in the country by fighters of the Islamic state (banned in Russia) was stolen about $830 million

According to TASS, the banking system of Iraq suffered after the summer of 2014, the terrorists have established control in the provinces of Nineveh, Anbar and Salah-ed-DIN, as well as in important parts of Diyala province. Then in the hands of IG was 121 Department of the state and private banks of Iraq.

In a statement, the Central Bank of Iraq States that the activities of the offices and companies in the occupied territories was discontinued.
