Poroshenko discussed with the President of Georgia, Putin’s visit to Abkhazia


President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Tuesday, August 8, held telephone talks with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Margvelashvili, reported on the official Internet representation of the Ukrainian President.

The head of the Square expressed solidarity with the Georgian people on the ninth anniversary of the beginning of the “Russian aggression against Georgia.”

“On this day, our hearts are with you”, — said the Ukrainian leader, adding that official Kyiv supports and will support the territorial integrity of Georgia.

Margvelashvili said that Georgia feels the support of Ukraine and grateful for it.

It is also reported that the Ukrainian and Georgian presidents discussed the visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to Abkhazia.
