The United States intends to expand sanctions against Venezuela

The United States plans to impose new sanctions against Venezuela. As reported by Bloomberg, it is planned to freeze the assets of about two dozen officials close to the President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro.

Sanctions can be expanded in the next days, have informed Agency sources. The U.S. Treasury Department this information to journalists didn’t comment.
