Khodorkovsky: I am convinced that Putin took part in provocations with prostitutes against Skuratov

The former owner of Yukos Mikhail Khodorkovsky said he believes in the participation of Vladimir Putin’s provocations with “a man like attorney General,” in which he retired from his post the head of the Prosecutor General Yuri Skuratov.

We will remind that in March 1999 on the TV channel “Russia” was shown footage was captured allegedly Skuratov in bed with two girls. After that Skuratov was a criminal case, as allegedly provided him sexual services was seen as a bribe. In the end, the attorney General lost his post.

In an interview now, Khodorkovsky said that he had no evidence and in this case he can only make an assumption, but, “if you ask his personal opinion”, he is “absolutely convinced” direct participation in provocations, then-FSB head Putin.

Khodorkovsky explained that “someone refused to take part in this provocation, someone agreed. Those who agreed were considered sufficiently loyal”.

Recall that Putin was appointed Prime Minister on 9 August 1999..

Skuratov himself later claimed that Putin after a controversial video called it “exit game”, and the journalist Pavel Sheremet reported that Putin was responsible for “silent” care Skuratov from the policy.
