The Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan demanded that the citizens of the country stopped going to Russia and the Donbass, as there is, in his words, “nothing to do”. The Minister urged citizens to wrap their gaze to the West and go to Europe.
“I believe that there is nothing to go there. There is nothing to go to Russia, actually. Except to visit family, there she is,” said Omeljan. He also added that “if we go to Europe we should go to Europe.”
Note that a couple of months ago, the media reported that Kiev is preparing to stop the train and bus connections with Russia. Later he Omeljan denied these reports, but acknowledged that Kiev would cost to do so in 2015.
Currently, between Russia and Ukraine there is no air communication. In may of this year Omeljan said that Kiev will restore air communication only after Moscow “back” to Kiev, Crimea, Donbass, Kuban and other “occupied” territory.
