“For us, the representatives of the so-called West, it is important to stick together. The law on sanctions adopted by the U.S. Congress, rather harm it,” the Minister said in an interview.

The foreign Minister also called on Washington to consult with the EU before to translate his threats into reality. The Minister added that such a policy may lead to reviewing the situation of the European sanctions against Russia.

We will remind, the President of the United States Donald trump signed the law on strengthening of sanctions against Russia, informed the document was unanimously supported by both houses of Parliament.

The act prohibits funding under sanctions banks for a period of more than two weeks, and the oil and gas sector for more than 30 days.

The document also stated that the United States intends to prevent the construction of the pipeline “Nord stream-2” from Russia to Europe.
