German company Siemens has proposed to settle the scandal of the supply of the Crimea turbine manufacturing concern. They think that the best solution would be the purchase of the equipment. About the Agency TASS said the representative of the company Philip ENCs.
“Technically it might look like an agreement on the price that one is willing to pay to get back turbine”, – said the Agency interlocutor, adding that it would be “relatively simple operation”.
ENCs also added that the company is considering the possibility of returning the turbine for CHP plant in the Krasnodar region by way of a claim that has already been sent to the Moscow Arbitration court.
Earlier, Siemens announced that four turbines, designed for power plants in Taman have been moved to the Crimea, though Western sanctions prohibit the supply such equipment to the Peninsula.
Due to a conflict in early August, the European Union imposed sanctions against individuals and companies that could be involved in the transportation of turbines to the Crimea.
In turn, Moscow has repeatedly stated that in the Crimea the turbines were manufactured in Russia.
